Eva van Reijmersdal
Eva van Reijmersdal is an Associate Professor of persuasive communication in the Amsterdam School of Communication Research ASCoR at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her research focuses on the effects of embedded advertising (e.g. brand placement, advergames, influencer marketing, sponsored blogs) on adults and children. She also investigates the effects of disclosing the persuasive nature of embedded advertising on people’s persuasion knowledge and on persuasion. Van Reijmersdal serves as Associate Editor of International Journal of Advertising.
