Bitescience uses security procedures to prevent unauthorized access to visitors’ data.
2. Use of personal data
When using our website, you leave certain information with us. That may be personal data. We only keep and use the personal data that is entered by you directly or of which it is clear that it is provided to us to process. We will not use the personal data for other purposes, unless you have given permission in advance for this or we may or must do so on the grounds of the law.
You can use Bitescience with or without an account. For an account we need at least your full name and e-mail address. Only with an account can we register your interests and send notifications.
By creating an account, you agree that Bitescience can send you notifications of new articles to the specified e-mail address. The default setting is that you will receive a monthly notification by e-mail of all new articles in your chosen areas of interest. You can always indicate via the settings whether you want to continue to receive these notifications.
You can cancel your Bitescience account with immediate effect via settings.
3. Retention periods
The above data will be stored as long as it is necessary to deliver our service to you.
4. Manage personal data
If you have provided us with personal data, you have the rights to request access to and change or delete this data. You can submit this request via e-mail: info@bitescience.com. To prevent abuse we can ask you to adequately identify yourself. When it comes to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you need to send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find it in the settings of your browser.

Bitescience’s website contains links to other sites. For example, on this website buttons and players are included to share content through social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. When webpages are shared using these buttons, you are redirected to these social media platforms.
